Past Meeting in 2009
JAL Resort Sea Hawk Hotel, Fukuoka, Japan
On behalf of the organizing committee of the Korean Continence Society (KCS), the Taiwanese Continence Society (TCS), and the Japanese Neurogenic Bladder Society (JNBS), I am very pleased to welcome all of you, the participation of the 4th Pan-Pacific Continence Society (PPCS) Meeting on September 10th (Thu), 2009, in Fukuoka, Japan. Also I appreciate your support and active participation for the meeting.
Fukuoka is blessed with an abundance of dainty seafood throughout the year and is an attractive city harmonizing ancient history with new culture. Moreover, it is conveniently located in terms of transportation and has been developing as city open to Asia.
The 1st PPCS Meeting started in 2006 in Tokyo, japan, and the meeting returns to japan this year again. In a good timing, a new English Journal “LUTS: Lower Urinary Tract Symptom” has just been launched in June, 2009. “LUTS” is an official journal of the KCS, the TCS, and the JNBS. Free online access to this journal is available for all the members of the three societies. This is a great step for the PPCS.
The program of this year’s PPCS offers 2 Special Lectures by Prof. Jeong Gu Lee (Department of Urology, Korea University College of Medicine, Korea), and Prof. Hann-Chorng Kuo (Department of Urology, Tzu Chi University, Taiwan), a Luncheon Seminar by Prof. Naoki Yoshimura (Department of Urology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine USA), Symposium; Male LUTS, Mini-Symposium: Child Enuresis, Podium Session, and Moderated Poster Session. I fully appreciate that so many number of academic papers had been applied from Korea, Taiwan, and also japan.
I'll host the 16th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Neurogenic Bladder Society (JNBS) from September 10th to 12th, 2009 in conjunction with the 4th PPCS Meeting at the same venue. OOn behalf of the JNBS, we welcome all the participants of the 4th PPCS, and look forward to seeing you in Fukuoka, Japan.
