Past Meeting in 2008

Kaoshiung, Taiwan

Dear Colleagues:

Welcome to Taiwan to participate 3rd Pan-Pacific Continence Society (PPCS) Meeting.

The 2-day meeting will begin with the PPCS-Pitt symposium held on September 26 in Ambassador Hotel. All PPCS members are invited to attend the symposium. The goal of the symposium is to acknowledge the great contribution of Dr. de Groat for his teaching on Asian MD scientists, who continue to make major discoveries in LUT physiology after they go back to their home countries.

The main scientific meeting will be held on September 27 in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Kaohsiung. As the main theme of the meeting being Continence Promotion - New Concept and Treatment on LUTS/OAB in 2008, the meeting includes symposiums and state-of-art-lectures focusing on continence promotion and latest advancements in functional urology. Distinguished speakers from Asia, USA and New Zealand will present their expertise. Excellent papers, including podium presentation and posters, have been selected and will be presented in the meeting. Do not forget to visit non-discussion posters, which are all excellent works and are not selected for formal presentation simply due to time limitation.

The meeting has arranged unforgettable social programs for all members. Right after PPCS-Pitt Symposium, welcome party will be held in a nearby restaurant. The relaxing style of the party will make it a wonderful opportunity to see faces of friends old and new. After the party, all members are invited to join a cruise to praise the beautiful night scenes of Kaohsiung Harbor. The official dinner party will be in the Ambassador Hotel after conclusion of the main meeting held on September 27. You are guaranteed to enjoy the dishes with Southern Taiwan style.

We wish you will enjoy the meeting and your stay in Taiwan.
